Nepeta England is a one-acre nursery tucked into the Kent countryside, with a history stretching back further than the name suggests. The site began as a derelict farm taken on in the late 1950s, and by the late 1980s plants were being sold from the drive beside the pond. The nursery moved to its current site in 2006, and over more than 30 years it grew into a genuine destination for keen gardeners, specialising in herbaceous perennials and bedding plants alongside a wide range of shrubs.

Today the nursery is run by the next generation and spans tunnels, glasshouses, outdoor display spaces and planting schemes across the whole acre.
