The Rhino Premium 8x10 greenhouse is where serious growing space meets Premium specification. You’ll get two triple roof vents with automatic openers and storm locks on every vent, three five-blade louvre side vents for superb airflow, double doors in the 8ft gable end, integral gutters and downpipes, hanging basket rails and a strong integral base, all as standard. The T-section braced aluminium frame has 60% more aluminium than competitors, and every pane is Grade A 4mm toughened safety glass held firmly in place by the Rhino glazing system.
The wider 8ft body accommodates full-width staging on both sides with a comfortable walkway between, and the 10ft length provides genuine depth for taller crops, climbing plants and dedicated propagation areas. Choose your colour, and rest easy with a 25-year guarantee on frame and finish.
How you could configure your 8x10 greenhouse
There are millions of ways you could configure your new 8x10, check out the photos for ideas but here are a couple of popular options to maximise growing:
- Full staging down one side (with a potting pal), path down the middle, 2x6 raised bed down one side, slatted shelf at the back
- Two 2x6 raised beds on each side, path down the middle, hanging baskets, free standing staging at the back
An important thing to do is plan exactly what you will grow and how you want to use the greenhouse. If you have children you may opt for raised beds so they can help. Some of our Rhino owners see their greenhouse as a destination, somewhere to sit, read and escape. If that's suits you, the 8x10 is a great size as it allows enough space for plenty of growing, but also a chair for sitting back and relaxing!
This is one of the most talked-about greenhouses in the Rhino owner community. Owners have shared some really helpful staging capacity figures: the fixed staging accommodates around 12 standard seed trays on the top tier and 20 on the bottom, with the fixed shelf and freestanding staging at the far end providing additional growing and storage space. If you’re the kind of gardener who likes to know exactly what fits where before you buy, those numbers should help.
The 8x10 is frequently chosen in Silver Sage and Midnight Slate, and people really do form genuine attachments to their Rhinos. One owner named her Midnight Slate greenhouse after her grandmother. Another had his Silver Sage 8x10 professionally built in under a day, complete with shelves and blinds. And a repeat buyer who had to leave his 8x10 behind when moving house immediately set about ordering another Rhino for the new property. That kind of loyalty tells you everything about the product.
In practical terms, the 8x10 is the sweet spot for gardeners who find the 6x8 a bit tight but don’t need (or have the garden space for) a 10x12 or larger. If you’re growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, melons or luffa alongside seed starting and potting, this size will serve you brilliantly.
One more thing: blinds are consistently recommended by 8x10 owners for managing summer temperatures. The community sentiment is straightforward: don’t skip the blinds. They’re genuinely effective, not just decorative.

Professional installation
Can I install the greenhouse myself?
Every Rhino greenhouse is delivered with a comprehensive set of instructions. With help at key moments, a competent DIY enthusiast can erect this size of greenhouse over a weekend.
Can I hire an installer?
This time and effort can be eliminated by using a professional installer who will quickly and efficiently erect, glaze and anchor down the greenhouse on your pre-prepared site ? either soil or hardstanding.
Can I use my own installer?
You can use your own installer but we would strongly recommend that you get a price for the job rather that a day rate as it can take several days to complete installation.
How long might installation take?
Depending on the size of the greenhouse and your proficiency it can take up to 1 week to properly install a Rhino.

"Not only did it successfully withstand the winds from that hurricane, but there was zero leakage of water inside."
I wanted a greenhouse in my garden to serve as a focal point and a space for creative endeavors, however I knew that living in Florida posed some risk from potential hurricanes.?
After extensive research, I found the Rhino Greenhouse had the highest wind-rating of any on the market. To my amazement and elation, there it stood, with pride, after battling a category 4 hurricane.?
Not only did it successfully withstand the winds from that hurricane, but there was zero leakage of water inside.
