Rhino Premium 8x10 Greenhouse - Colour Finish

To help promote the perfect air circulation, this Rhino greenhouse is fitted with 2x triple roof vents powered by solar powered automatic openers. When combined with our large side louvres (included as standard) they allow cool air to move in through the side louvres and out of the roof as it heats up.

It is essential to have complete control over your greenhouse's airflow, especially in the summer months. You'll want to have the peace of mind that comes with automatic openers.

Each roof vent on our Rhino Premium greenhouses is powered by automatic openers which rise and fall as the temperature changes. Powered by a black cylinder as the wax inside heats up the roof vents are pushed open allowing hot air to escape.

Vents on our Rhino Premiums are also fitted with storm locks, allowing vents to be secured down. This is ideal when bad weather is expected, allowing the entire structure to be made airtight. Note that it is important to disengage the vents before putting the storm locks into position, to avoid causing any damage to the openers.

The ideal temperature for your greenhouse is anywhere between 25-28 degrees Celsius, though it’s worth noting that with the fluctuating UK temperature, along with overnight temperature drops, you’re not going to be able to achieve these temperatures consistently throughout the year. 

This is where having the perfect level of ventilation comes into play. Combining the roof vents, 3x large side louvres and even the large doorway, you can help keep your greenhouse as cool as possible in the summer and warm in the winter.

This greenhouse comes with a large double door configuration as standard, providing plenty of access for multiple people, wheelbarrows and wheelchairs. When full opened, our double door opening measures 4ft (1.21 metres).

The integral base and Rhino Tuff glazing system also add to the overall strength, creating a solid and airtight framework from the top of the roof to the ground.

We’ve tested the snow loading capacity of a Rhino by putting half a tonne of sand bags on the roof, so it's ready for whatever the Great British weather may throw at it.

With safety at the forefront of every Rhino, we've developed our combination glazing system. Perfect for exposed locations and families with young children and pets. 

Part 1 of our glazing system is the use of Rhino Tuff 4mm toughened safety glass. This safety glass is 33% thicker than most greenhouse glass and is supplied as standard with every Rhino. In the unlikely event that a pane is broken, the glass will shatter into thousands of tiny pieces rather than big shards which are far more likely to cause injury. Safety at every step is important to us, which is why even the edges of the glass are rounded so you don't cut yourself during installation. And with Grade A glass, you can achieve ultimate clarity for maximum light.

Part 2 of our unique Rhino glazing system locks each pane of glass in place along its entire length, using long rubber beads. The glass cannot be blown or sucked out of the frame and pushing on the glass only locks the beads more tightly into the frame, making it ideally engineered for high winds and other extreme weather conditions. With Rhino's glazing method, each pane becomes integral to the strength of the whole frame. The Premium range also features box-section glazing bead for even greater stability, as a step up from the Classic range.

A lot of greenhouses come with horticultural glass, flimsy W-clips and bar capping. When compared with the glazing that comes as standard on most greenhouses, the Rhino ranges come up trumps every time. With the smooth finish achieved by our glazing beads, you'll definitely prefer them to W-clips.

Every Rhino greenhouse includes a strong aluminium base in the price, which not only provides an incredibly strong foundation but also allows The Rhino to be erected simply onto firm, level soil – so there’s no need for an expensive concrete base.

Once The Rhino is erected, strong stainless steel ground anchors are concreted into position.

The Rhino can also be erected on a hardstanding of concrete or paving slabs, in which case the stainless steel anchors are fixed using the fixings provided.

All Rhino greenhouses now include a low threshold door and ramp within the price. There’s no longer a trip hazard at the doorway and on 8, 10 and 12ft wide models there is plenty of width for a wheelchair or wheelbarrow to enter with ease.

With gardeners in mind, every Rhino is fitted with two hanging basket rails. These rails are part of the roof, but don't worry they're still more than capable of handling the extra load. 

Using hanging basket rails is also a clever way to free up lots of space on your staging for other plants!

Every Rhino greenhouse also comes with large integral gutters as well as downpipes and bends so you can collect and use the natural rainwater that your plants love.

There is an optional two-in-one kit available at an extra cost which joins the two pipes at the rear of the greenhouse and allows both gutters to feed into one water butt.

Our Rhino greenhouses offer great flexibility when it comes to base options. Unlike most other greenhouse brands, our Rhinos can be erected on soil. This is only due to the strength created by its sturdy base and framework. As long as it is level and fully compacted, in most situations soil is the perfect solution.

Alternatively, hardstanding bases are also suitable. As long as they're smooth and level, paving slabs, concrete bases and brick or block perimeter plinths can also be used.
